HACCP
HACCP stands for 'Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points'. HACCP is a risk inventory for systematically controlling and managing food safety hazards in the production process, based on 7 core principles. The aim is to increase product safety by identifying and managing risks. HACCP is a legally required way of working, stemming from the Feed Hygiene Regulation 183/2005. Hofman Animal Care trading under the name Excellent Horse is registered under number 17352.
GMP+FSA
GMP stands for 'Good Manufacturing Practice' and FSA for 'Feed Safety Assurance'. It is a quality management system originating in the Netherlands for ensuring safe animal feed throughout all links of the animal feed chain, integrating ISO-9001, HACCP, feed safety standards, traceability, and monitoring. It therefore represents an advantage over legally mandated requirements. Originally Dutch, but now active and recognized worldwide. Hofman Animal Care trading under the name Boerenwinkel.nl is GMP+ FSA certified, which means that raw materials, additives, and the production process carry a quality assurance. With this, Hofman Animal Care guarantees reliable and safe animal feed products.
GMP+FRA
Als antwoord op de marktvraag naar non-GMO (Genetisch Gemodificeerd Organisme) diervoeder binnen de EU heeft GMP+ de MI5.4 “GMO controlled” gecreëerd. GMP+ werkt hierbij samen met VLOG, waarbij diervoederbedrijven binnen GMP+ worden gecontroleerd of zij voldoen aan de voorwaarden van het marktinitiatief VLOG. Deze standaard is gebaseerd op Europese bepalingen voor GMO en ziet er op toe dat de drempelwaarde van het GMO-gehalte van 0,9% per voedermiddel niet wordt overschreden en dat het GMO-gehalte onvoorzien is of technisch niet te voorkomen.
