Zoë Coade, also known as GetGoodWithHorses, is active as a trainer and content creator in equestrian sports. Her work focuses on clear communication, trust, and the welfare of the horse. Through her training and online content, she shows how to work with your horse in a practical and honest way, regardless of level or discipline.

In her daily stable routine, grooming plays an important role. Not as an end in itself, but as an integral part of working with horses. In this blog, Zoë shares her personal products. Products that are not only practical but also contribute to well-being, appearance, and the joy you experience with your horse. In this blog, you'll read which products Zoë herself prefers to use and why she's so enthusiastic about them.

Hoof Oil Black with Brush

This is truly one of my firm favorites. I love how easy it is to use: just one coat is enough, and white hooves immediately get a beautiful, deep black color. Ideal for competitions, events, or photo shoots when you want that little extra without any hassle. I often use it during shoots with my main horse, Lenny. The brush in the cap prevents mess and overuse, which I find super convenient. And the fact that it contains Tea Tree Oil and therefore also has a mild cleaning effect makes it pleasant to use more often.

Supreme Brush for Tail and Mane

I've been using this brush since it came out, more than three years ago, and it remains a staple in my grooming kit. The flexible pins make it much easier to brush through tangles and dirt without breaking the hair. I love it so much that I have all three colors, and yes, I even use one for my own hair! Truly a thoughtful design that simply does what it's supposed to.

Snuffle Mat Flower Power

I am really a fan of this concept. Anyone who loves horses knows how beneficial hand grazing can be for bonding, but that's not always possible. The snuffle mat is a great alternative. Whether it's winter, your horse is on stall rest, or there's little turnout, it gives your horse a calm, enriching moment. Also great for fast eaters and a nice treat on days when it's too hot or cold to do much. Simple, smart, and good for your horse's mental well-being.

Flexi Brush Curry Comb

Funnily enough, a rubber curry comb was always a must-have in my grooming kit until about fifteen years ago. Then they gradually disappeared, until Excellent Horse released this new flexible version. As soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted one again. It's even better than I remembered. Its flexibility allows it to conform nicely to the horse's body, and it's soft enough for the small legs and sensitive areas of my Mini-Shetland Benny. A classic in a new jacket, super well thought out.

These are the products Zoë uses time and again. They fit her way of interacting with horses, with attention to detail, welfare, and enjoyment. Let yourself be inspired by her favorites and discover how these products can make your daily grooming moments that little bit nicer.
