The Excellent Horse sniffing mat was developed to challenge horses and ponies! This mat stimulates the natural foraging (sniffing) behavior of horses, as they have to make an effort to eat all the treats from the mat. It is ideal for combating boredom or for rewarding horses in a playful way. The mat is made of soft silicone, making it suitable for sensitive horse noses.
Instructions for use
Place the sniffing mat on a flat surface (e.g., in the stable, in the trailer, or in the paddock) and fill it with treats, such as mash, pellets, muesli, or pieces of fruit or vegetables. After use, the mat can be easily hung up (e.g., with a carabiner), thanks to the hole in the corner, so that the mat can be rinsed off and air-dried.
