Where is it best used?

Why use a Hay Slow Feeder hay net?
In the wild, horses spend on average twice as much time foraging for food compared to being in a stable. Additionally, the horse's digestive system is adapted to constantly eating small amounts of roughage like grass or hay. A slow feeder, such as a hay net, ensures that the horse eats more slowly, thus mimicking a more natural eating behavior. It has been shown that the constant presence of food also causes less stress for the horse than portion feeding, which still occurs in many stables.
