Ideal in warm weather or for fluid loss due to exercise or during a competition, as water alone is insufficient for a quick recovery.

With heavy sweating, a horse loses, in addition to fluid, also electrolytes (salts, such as chloride, sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium) and trace elements (e.g., zinc). A horse's sweat contains more electrolytes per litre of fluid than blood and other body fluids. A horse loses its desire to drink if the electrolyte concentration in the body is low, potentially leading to dehydration, even though fresh drinking water is available.

Feeding advice
25 grams per 1 litre of water

To be administered during the period from 1 day before to 2 days after exercise. Maximum 100 grams per day. Always ensure sufficient fresh drinking water.
